I think the problem is with the font you are substituting. Looks like it's about trouble with font cache. See reset the photoshop font cache.

\users\[user name]\appdata\roaming\adobe\adobe photoshop cc or cc 2014 delete the ct font cache folder tada, it's working now. If problem persists please disable the font. If you have any idea as to how i can unravel the problem, i would love to hear it.
